Position: Branch Manager – Local based individuals interested in engaging poor households in villages in the Chomu area of Rajastan.
Role: - Frontier Markets seeks a branch manager to oversee on the ground, day-to-day operations of marketing and sales activities. The branch manager is responsible for managing the marketing and sales teams that are assigned to a region, as well as cash and data reconciliation on a daily basis. To engage local households in marketing and sales and educating them about products for healthcare, energy and technology.
Responsibilities:
Field Level Responsibilities
- Monitors sales and marketing teams
- Ensures operations are executed according to business processes
- Cash collection and banking
- Handle customer engagement as needed
- Collecting and in-putting sales data (daily)
- Liaison to MFI field staff
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage the branch P&L
- Manage inventory, procurement and distribution to the field
- Create/maintain records pertaining to members and operations of Frontier Markets in your area
- Note challenges, suggestions and ideas for program and member development
- Conduct weekly meetings to review weekly activities, and prepare work plan for following week
- Prepare meeting minutes for weekly meetings to be reviewed by the management team
Other Responsibilities
- Train staff on an on-going basis
- Carry out all additional responsibilities allocated by the Management team
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have at least 5 years experience managing an MFI branch or similar managementcapacity and responsibilities in the field. An MBA or similar degree in management from a tier 2 school is highly desirable.
